I hired this company for a sidewalk and curb repair in order to remove a city violation. The price was quite reasonable and the quality of the work was excellent. High marks for punctuality, courtesy, and professionalism. I highly recommend this company and will call them again when I have another project in mind.

Smart General fully renovated our entire exteriors (brickface, stucco, roofs, gutters, leaders, brick + granite stairs, demo, etc) and did an amazing job. The quote estimate was reasonable and work started within a week. So glad I chose them as the work was extremely of high-quality and took 3 months. Throughout the entire process, Ahmad was extremely attentive and responsive to all our concerns & needs. They cleaned up afterwards on a daily basis after the job which was a nice plus. I chose them not just because of the reasonable quote but mainly because of their excellent reviews and now I ended up giving an excellent review based on my own experience as well. So far we have been getting many high praises from neighbors & passerby in the area with one even mentioning that it was "beautiful & best in the block." I would highly recommend Smart General to all my friends, coworkers, & family and anyone reading this review! UPDATE on 6/7/2024: Ahmad was extremely responsive to helping us patch a stucco hole repair after getting our AC pipe leakage repaired. We didn't know there was an issue with our AC pipes until 6 months later when the weather got warmer. Thankfully, Ahmad still came to the rescue 6 months later to help us with the stucco patch repair. It was very timely due to the rainy weather & upcoming hot BBQ season. Would highly recommend Smart General to everyone as they are extremely honest, reliable, & responsible! A+

I needed some outdoor stairs re-made and outdoor concrete walkway poured. Ahmad and his crew did a great job. My new stairs are brick and limestone, excellently made with a great eye for detail. Am very happy with them! As for the concrete, the walkway looks great and again, Ahmad and his crew paid attention to all the details. Very professional work both in look, attention to details, and follow-up. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend Smart General Contracting for any job you have and I would hire them again for any outside job I needed done.

Recently had to have my outdoor front steps done, some contractors were asking a crazy amount and did not really leave me comfortable. I reached out to Smart General Contracting and they came gave a great estimate and allowed me to add things on that also needed to be addressed. They are a great company and will help you and give good ideas on how it should be done. All was completed and I’m so happy with how my house looks and the steps are much safer now. Thank you and I will be using them again if ever needed.

We have just had a sidewalk replacement ( including remove the debris and put new cement) done by Smart General Contracting Corp. We are so happy with the new sidewalk replacement because the workmanship is so great and the price is reasonable. Ahmad is so knowledgeable and professional. I had a very good experience with Smart Contracting. Ahmad is the boss and he is amazing. He listened and addressed my concerns. He was always available and responded to all my calls and texts. The brick work and siding work by this crew was excellent. It was done very fast. They thoroughly cleaned up including the debris that spilled over to my neighbors' area. No attitudes, no tricks and no excuses unlike other contractors I have used in the past. I will definitely use them again.

Smart General Contracting dug a hole into the ground of my backyard and expanded the width and depth of a drain to prevent my basement from flooding during heavy downpours. Ahmad and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. The workmanship is excellent, and the price is reasonable. I will be using them again if ever needed. Highly recommended.

Smart General Contracting completed an 8 flag concrete sidewalk replacement in front of our home in Park Slope, Brooklyn. This was required for home insurance renewal. Permits from NYC are required and the contractor must be licensed by NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP). Smart General, as I verified on the DCWP website, is in fact fully licensed. Further, they obtained the permit from NYC Dept. of Transportation within 72 hours! Smart General is operated by Mr. Ahmed. He provided a fair estimate and delivered exactly according to the terms of the estimate. He is an excellent and professional communicator, responding to texts promptly. He and his team are conscientious, polite, neat, clean, and dedicated. I am giving the company 5 stars because it is well deserved. I am extremely satisfied with the fair cost of the project and its excellent execution.
